Since my retirement from practice as a CPA I have become deeply involved in community activities, using my financial skills. After serving as a volunteer for several years I joined the board of our local Community Foundation in 2014 and am now the Treasurer. I serve on the finance, audit and nominations committees.
After my wife and I donated a conservation easement to the local Land Trust in 2014, I started to volunteer. In 2016, I served on the fundraising committee to acquire a property to create a new preserve. I joined the board later that year and serve on the finance committee. Recently I was thrilled to be invited to join our local Rotary Club and volunteer to raise funds for the causes Rotary supports.
