COMMUNITY WORK

Since my retirement from practice as a CPA I have become deeply involved in community activities in my hometown in Connecticut, including serving on the town's audit committee.

After serving as a volunteer for several years I joined the board of the local Community Foundation in 2014 and served as the Treasurer until my term ended in June 2021. I continue as a volunteer, visiting local non-profits that apply for grants every spring to assess their applications.

After my wife and I donated a conservation easement to the local Land Trust in 2014, I started to volunteer my time. In 2016, I served on the fundraising committee to acquire a property in town to create a new preserve. I joined the board later that year and served a term that ended in November 2020. I rejoined the board in January 2023 as Vice-President and was elected President in November 2023

I was invited to join my local Rotary Club in 2018 and served a term as Club President in 2021 - 2022. I give my time to the Club's service projects including helping to raise funds for the many causes Rotary supports.
